This recent client CFD analysis project deals with the Topology Optimization
Objective: The objective of the CFD modeling work is to introduce the optimized geometry by solving fluid flow with Lattice Boltzmann method. We designed the heat exchanger tube in Autodesk Inventor, with reference to fluid dynamic analysis in simulations – COMSOL Multiphysics 5.2a (Finite Element Method) and Workbench- Fluent (Finite Volume Method) and validation have done with CFD design Experimental setup.
Results: Comparison of the CFD simulation and actual experimental fluid dynamic simulation was very near with minimum tolerance.

Estimation of Contact Resistances between a Casing and Cells

The objective of the computational fluid dynamics analysis project in numerical methods is to estimate the contact resistances between a casing and the cells using the inverse techniques in the case where the cells are cooled by contact with a cold plate.
Methodology: To do this, we as a CFD consultancy first must solve the direct problem with the COMSOL CFD simulation software. This thermal fluid flow simulation consists in determining the temperatures of the cell by knowing the temperature of the cold plate and the contact resistances between the casing and the cells.
We then estimated the resistances using the inverse technique. Then, we studied the sensitivity of the system using computational fluid dynamics simulation to verify the credibility of our fluid flow analysis values.
Results: Finally, we will interpret the computational fluid analysis values found to draw attention to the problem of thermal cooling the batteries.
