Elevated Shell Platform: Effects Due to Geometric

Our FEA consultants have used FEA Software for our Client Project entitled Elevated Shell Platform: Effects Due to Geometric.
This FEA Consultancy project was under the Civil Engineering field where the Green Water Loading analysis made was on a structural element.
1. FEA Simulation Objective
The objectives of the  FEA Simulation study were to asses the feasibility in proposing an elevated shell platform and to investigate the effect of shell geometric on the elevated shell platform and identify the suitable shell geometrically.
2. FEA Simulation Methodology and Approach: 
This structure was proposed to raise the houses and residential on a platform to reduce issues faced by society and government that arising from the occurrence of flood events. Five different geometric was proposed and the FEA analysis result shows different performance in terms of stress distribution and deformation. The geometric are dome, pendentive, leaf-like, clam-like and cone.
3. Outcome & Conclusion
As the outcome of the FEA Analysis Study, the geometric with a smooth surface profile have distributed the stresses uniformly compared to the stress surface profile. Dome came as the best geometric since it can carry the highest loading applied compared to others since it produced the least stress.
Most recently, we have used the design to join innovation competition (BVIIEC2019) with the enhancement on the material used from conventional reinforcement concrete to prestressed concrete to strengthen the week points of geometric from previous FEA Analysis output.
