Femap Flow

Just like Ansys Fluent, Femap Flow Offers a Total 3D computational fluid dynamics (CFD) solution integrated within Siemens Femap Software. When combined with Solid Edge Femap Advanced Thermal, it Simulates a wide range of multi-physics Engineering problems that involve fluid flow and Thermal heat Transmission.
Both low-speed and high- Velocity compressible flows can be Simulated.
The Femap Analysis Flow solver uses a Highly efficient and robust element-based finite volume, multi-grid solver to Solve the 3D fluid velocity, Thermal temperature and Overall pressure Loadings for both steady-state and transient applications.
Forced Fluid flow, Passive convection, and Advanced mixed flows can be Numerally modeled with Femap Thermal Analysis Software with multiple inlets, outlets, and internal flow Physics boundary conditions.
For Simulating electronics Thermal cooling applications, the Femap with NX Nastran package easily models fan curves, inlet, and outlet resis­tances as well as convection from thin structures Designs.
Rotating systems, moving walls, flow turbulence models, Relative humidity (RH) and other features are available for the most advanced fluid flow modeling requirements.


Fully customizable – Integrated BASIC API Programming Environment

At a very Affordable Femap Price and licensing, Femap offers a full-featured BASIC development environment in a separate window. Directly from the Femap user interface, you can access the OLE/COM object-oriented Femap application pro­gramming interface (API) that provides direct access to all Femap objects and functionality. The BASIC engine within Femap Software is fully OLE/COM compliant and can interface with Femap as well as any OLE/COM compliant program such as Word or Excel. You can create Tailored programs that automate repetitive Job tasks, search model or results data, or programs that transfer model information to Word or Excel to create customized reports.
Many useful Simulation Software is Available with Siemens Femap with NX Nastran in an ever-expanding library and can be found in the Customization Utility toolbar right in the Software Graphical user interface (GUI).
