Reliable Evaluation of Signal Integrity

When creating an electronic circuit schematic, having a preliminary PCB thermal simulation allows you to makes what-if analysis of your RLC circuit easy to do since there is no need to recreate the parts of your design that you would like to simulate.
We allow you to accurately simulate and evaluate for signal integrity issues before the actual board has ever been laid out physically.
In addition, through our PCB thermal relief simulation, you can also automatically determine a termination scheme and the values of the components for the net you are currently analyzing.
Once a PCB design has been routed. you can run PCB simulations on a virtual prototype of your board to verify the signal integrity of your traces before sending it to actual manufacturing

Our client wants a plastic box enclosure rather than the default aluminum alloy.
Methodology Approach
We simulated the housing enclosure with the material nylon polymer, followed by the use of a thermal heat sink from the analysis software library. Because the PCB board chosen was fully routed, the copper metal traces can be visibly be seen from the file.
*Note that if the routing has not been performed or if you simply want to ignore them, we are able to change the percentage of copper and signal and power planes for PCB simulation.
Typically for a typical PCB board schematic design, there can be many millions of electrical components, but for the reason of implementing PCB thermal analysis, not all of these are relevant.
The most common analysis techniques are to not exclude the very small components or those with little or no wattage consumption.
Our thermal analysis consultants then run the thermal simulation analysis solver and generated the plane plot.

We conducted the thermal simulation again by switching the enclosure used to a more realistic case from our library. At the same time, we’re going to add more detailed models to the ICS when you run the thermal simulation program and generate the plane plot. It was noticed that the thermal temperature measured has gone down significantly around the ICs by roughly 75 degrees Celsius.
