GE Propeller rotor CFD Simulation analysis

The Aim of this CFD Research & Consultancy Project is to perform CFD analysis on the Rotor is to find the number of outflow peaks for one complete revolution of the pump.
For dynamic mesh, an Overset approach was employed for the CFD Flow Analysis.


Geometry: Internal volume extraction, Meshing
Regions: Create necessary overset zero-gap interfaces, assign inlet and outlet.
Physics: Implicit unsteady, segregated flow, second-order in space and time
Post: Created mass flow CFD Flow Simulation report at the outlet to monitor the peaks.


Through the CFD Consulting Project, our CFD Consultants Successfully predicted the mass flow peaks at an outlet


CFD simulation of gas turbine Combustor Propeller


Simulation objective:

Perform CFD simulations to assist the development of next-generation combustors for Siemens gas turbines


For the Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulation study, our CFD Consulting Company Used the latest combustion and turbulence models present in STAR-CCM+

Outcome & Conclusion:

Through the CFD Consultancy project lead by our CFD Services company, it helped to Provide Actionable suggestions for improving combustor design for improved performance characteristics such as Thermal, Pressure drop, Thermo-acoustic instabilities, Emissions, Flash-back, etc

droplet dynamics and evaporation over micro and nanostructured surfaces for biomedical applications.
Our CFD Engineers used finite volume and finite element method as part of the scope of work for the CFD Consulting Services provided to the client.

CFD Software used:

OpenFOAM, Ansys CFX Software, Ansys fluent and console multiphysics. Also, by using object-oriented programming language c+ +, c, FORTRAN, Linux shell scripts and Scilab.


As part of the CFD Analysis Services rendered to the client, the objective of the CFD modeling was to understanding the flow over partial slip walls (specially superhydrophobic surfaces).
Our CFD Engineer also performed Fluid Dynamic Simulation to Study the Physics behavior of droplet evaporation.
